How care begins

Your journey with Ruchcare

Every package of care follows the same careful path — so nothing is rushed, and nothing is missed.

1

A conversation, not a form

It starts with a friendly chat about the support you or your loved one needs. Call either branch — we'll listen first.

2

Comprehensive assessment

We complete a full needs and risk assessment — health and wellbeing, home safety, moving and handling, medication and safeguarding considerations.

3

A care plan built around you

Your individualised care plan is developed with you, your family and healthcare professionals — capturing your needs, preferences, culture and goals.

4

Matched with your carers

A small, consistent team of carers is matched to you by skills, experience and personality — building trust from the very first visit.

5

Care that adapts with you

Flexible visits that adjust quickly when your needs change — morning, evening, daytime or overnight.

6

Reviewed, always improving

Regular care plan reviews, your feedback, staff supervision and quality audits keep your care safe, effective and truly yours.

Safeguarding & quality

You are in safe hands — and we can prove it

Behind every warm visit sits a rigorous framework of vetting, training and quality monitoring, built to CQC standards.

Carefully vetted people

Enhanced DBS checks, identity verification, full employment history and professional references before anyone joins your home.

Trained continuously

Care Certificate induction plus ongoing training in dementia, moving and handling, medication, communication and safeguarding.

Zero-tolerance safeguarding

A strict framework protecting adults and children, with clear reporting channels and close work with local safeguarding boards.

Quality monitored

Care plan reviews, service user feedback, supervision, spot checks and learning reviews keep standards consistently high.

We are proudly inclusive — care plans respect culture, religion, language, identity and personal beliefs, so every person feels seen and supported.

"Care is more than a service — it's a promise, a relationship, and a commitment to doing better every day."

Common questions

Answers for families, before you even ask

Is Ruchcare registered with the CQC?+
Yes. Ruchcare Ltd is registered with the Care Quality Commission to provide regulated personal care, and we operate in full compliance with CQC standards — safe, effective, caring, responsive and well-led.
How quickly can care start?+
It begins with a conversation, followed by a comprehensive needs and risk assessment and a personalised care plan. Our service is designed to be flexible and responsive, and visit arrangements can be adjusted quickly — including in response to emergencies or hospital discharge.
Will we see the same carers each visit?+
Continuity is one of our core principles. You'll be supported by a small, consistent team of carers matched to you by skills, experience and compatibility — so they truly understand your preferences and routines.
Do you support children and young people?+
Yes — through our West Midlands branch, which provides tailored homecare for children and young people aged 0–18, including personal care routines, school-run support, family respite and complex needs support. Our Peterborough branch focuses on adult care.
Do you provide overnight care?+
Yes. We offer both sleep-in and waking-night support, alongside morning, evening and daytime visits — short-term or long-term, depending on what you need.
Which areas do you cover?+
We operate two branches: our West Midlands branch (full specialisms including children's homecare and mental health support) and our Peterborough branch (adult community care specialisms). Call the branch nearest to you and we'll confirm coverage for your address.
